Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and PressPointCo Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202986274M), registered at 6 Raffles Quay, #14-02, Singapore 048580 ("PressPointCo", "we", "us"). If you do not agree, discontinue use of presspointco.pro immediately.

2. About our service

PressPointCo publishes independent Singapore news and information covering business, technology, startups, markets, urban development and science. We are a newsroom — not a marketing agency, political campaign organisation, state media outlet, investment adviser or legal adviser. Content is provided for general information and editorial purposes.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen years old or have parental consent to use contact features. By using the site, you represent that information you submit is accurate and that you have authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of any organisation you name in correspondence.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use presspointco.pro for unlawful purposes or to violate rights of others.
• Attempt unauthorised access to our systems, scrape content at scale without permission or interfere with site operation.
• Submit false news tips, defamatory material, malware or spam through contact channels.
• Misrepresent affiliation with PressPointCo or republish content in ways that suggest endorsement without permission.
• Use automated means to harvest personal data from the site or harass our staff.

We may suspend access for conduct that threatens security, editorial integrity or other users.

5. Intellectual property

All content on presspointco.pro — articles, headlines, photographs, graphics, logos, page layout and software — is owned by or licensed to PressPointCo and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may read and share links to articles for personal, non-commercial use. Republication, systematic reproduction, framing or commercial redistribution requires prior written consent except where fair dealing or fair use applies in your jurisdiction.

The PressPointCo wordmark and "Desk D1" editorial identifiers are our brand assets. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

6. Editorial content disclaimer

PressPointCo is an independent Singapore news and information platform. We publish business, technology and city coverage — not political campaigning, government communications or marketing agency services. Facts are checked to newsroom standards; corrections are published promptly when errors are confirmed.

Analysis, commentary and forward-looking statements represent editorial judgement, not investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Market data and third-party statistics may be delayed or contain errors despite verification efforts. We do not guarantee completeness, accuracy or timeliness of any content. You rely on published information at your own discretion and should consult licensed professionals before making financial decisions.

Articles may be updated as stories develop. Timestamps and datelines indicate filing context; check publication notes for material revisions.

7. User submissions

When you submit news tips, messages or other content through our contact form or email, you grant PressPointCo a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and edit that material for editorial investigation and publication where appropriate, subject to source protection commitments we may make separately. You represent that your submission does not infringe third-party rights and that you have authority to share any confidential information you provide.

We are not obligated to publish or respond to every submission. Pay-for-play coverage requests are declined.

8. Third-party links and data

Articles may reference external websites, filings, market data vendors and social platforms. We do not control third-party content and are not responsible for their accuracy, availability or privacy practices. Links do not constitute endorsement.

9. Privacy

Personal data processing is described in our Privacy Policy. Contact forms require PDPA consent. Cookie use is governed by our Cookie Policy.

10. Disclaimers of warranties

presspointco.pro is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted, secure or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PressPointCo Pte. Ltd. and its directors, employees, correspondents and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or investment losses arising from your use of presspointco.pro or reliance on content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our aggregate liability for direct damages shall not exceed SGD 100 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, whichever is greater — acknowledging that core news access is currently provided without charge.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Singapore law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify PressPointCo against claims, damages and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the site or infringement of third-party rights through your submissions or conduct.

13. Changes

We may modify presspointco.pro content and these Terms at any time. Updated Terms take effect upon posting with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes may be noted on the homepage. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

14. Termination

We may restrict or terminate access without notice for breach of these Terms or operational reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive — intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law — survive termination.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your home jurisdiction that cannot be waived.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions continue in full force. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid or severed if modification is not possible.

18. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PressPointCo regarding use of presspointco.pro and supersede prior understandings on the same subject matter, except where separate written agreements govern specific partnerships or contributor arrangements.

19. Language

These Terms are drafted in English. If translated versions are provided for convenience, the English version prevails in case of conflict to the extent permitted by applicable law.
