Cookie Policy
Last updated: 15 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how PressPointCo Pte. Ltd. uses cookies and similar technologies on presspointco.pro.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences, keep sessions secure and understand how readers use pages. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixel tags. In this policy, "cookies" refers to cookies and comparable technologies unless stated otherwise.
2. Who operates this site?
presspointco.pro is operated by PressPointCo Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202986274M), 6 Raffles Quay, #14-02, Singapore 048580. Cookie enquiries: [email protected]. This policy complements our Privacy Policy.
3. How we use cookies
We group cookies into three categories:
- Essential cookies: Required for the website to function — security, load balancing, cookie consent storage and form submission integrity. These cannot be disabled through our banner without breaking core features.
- Analytics cookies: Help us understand aggregate readership — pages viewed, referral sources, device types — so we can improve editorial layout and performance. Loaded only if you accept analytics in our cookie banner or customise preferences accordingly.
- Marketing cookies: Would support measurement of promotional campaigns if used. PressPointCo is a newsroom, not a marketing agency; we minimise marketing cookies and load them only with explicit consent where deployed.
4. Cookie banner and consent
On your first visit (or after consent expires), a banner offers three choices: Accept all, Reject optional, or Customise. Your selection is stored in a cookie named pp_cookie_consent for six months (180 days), after which the banner reappears. Rejecting optional cookies blocks analytics and marketing scripts while allowing essential operation.
You may change preferences by clearing site cookies in your browser and revisiting presspointco.pro, or by using Customise on a fresh consent cycle. Withdrawing consent does not affect prior lawful processing.
5. Specific cookies we may set
- pp_cookie_consent — stores your banner choice (essential for remembering consent). Duration: 180 days.
- Session identifiers — maintain security during form submission. Duration: session.
- Analytics identifiers — if accepted, pseudonymous IDs from analytics vendors to distinguish visits. Duration: vendor-specific, typically up to 24 months.
Exact cookie names may change as we update tooling. Material changes will be reflected in this policy.
6. Third-party cookies
Third-party services embedded on presspointco.pro — such as analytics providers or font delivery networks — may set their own cookies subject to their policies. We select vendors with reasonable data protection practices and configure them to respect consent signals where technically feasible.
Articles linking to external sites (social platforms, company investor relations pages, government open data) may expose you to third-party cookies once you leave presspointco.pro. We do not control those cookies.
7. Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through settings. Blocking all cookies may prevent the consent banner from remembering your choice and could affect form functionality. Consult your browser help documentation for instructions on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and mobile equivalents.
Do Not Track signals are not uniformly honoured across the industry; we prioritise explicit consent via our banner over ambiguous browser signals.
8. PDPA and personal data
Where cookies collect personal data or identifiable online identifiers, processing is governed by the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (Singapore) and our Privacy Policy. Analytics data is aggregated where possible to reduce identifiability. We do not sell cookie-derived profiles to marketing agencies or data brokers.
9. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add features, change vendors or respond to legal developments. The "Last updated" date will change accordingly. Significant changes may be highlighted on the website.
